ANNUAL CRUISIN' FOR A CURE CAR SHOW

Jun 04, 2016. New Dimensions Federal Credit Union invites surrounding community members and car enthusiasts to participate in the second annual Cruisin' for a Cure Car Show. Individuals interested in participating in the car show can register at the New Dimensions FCU branch locations: 61 Grove Street, Waterville, Maine and 72 Cony Street, Augusta, Maine. The Cruisin' for a Cure Car Show will benefit the Maine Children's Cancer Program. Many classes to choose from for entry, People's Choice and Best of Show will be awarded. Steve Colella from 93.5 True Oldies will be on site doing a live radio remote. All monies raised from the event will be directly donated to the Maine Children's Cancer Program located in Scarborough, Maine on behalf of local fundraising legend Mr. Sylvio Normandeau. Show participants pay a nominal registration fee of $10 per vehicle. Event is on Saturday, June 4, with same-day registration from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and the show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Mar 20 thru Apr 22, 2016. Annual Maine Open Juried Art Show at the Waterville Public Library in Downtown Waterville. The show features over 80 artists representing over 50 Maine communities and a variety of media, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and other media.
