A wonderful place in downtown waterville is having a upcoming event that some of you may be interested in attending. Women's Initiative Presents: Chick Flick Sunday! On May 15th at 1PM they will be serving a spaghetti lunch. Coffee will be provided, but you should bring your own non-alcoholic cold drink if you wish. This is a Woment's Iniative first, and they will be viewing vintage Carol Burnett shows! Sounds like a fun time! There is a $5.00 donation at the door. This will take place at A Woman's Place 93 Main Street Waterville Suite 6 (in the lower level).

Waterville Community/Humane Society
The Human Society will be having another upcoming fundraising event. It the annual Pet-A-Thon, Sunday May 1, 2011. Registation begins at 9AM and the walk starts at 10AM. The walk is held at the American Legion Hall, College Ave, Waterville. The court length is 3.5 miles. Walk with or without your pet. Any walker collecting $30 or more will receive a free T-shirt. Snacks will be available. To get a pledge sheet or for questions call 873-2430.
